Centolight Lights Up the Soul Circle Stage at UNTOLD Festival 2025

Centolight brought its distinctive lighting signature to the tenth edition of the UNTOLD Festival, giving new life and atmosphere to the Soul Circle Stage, one of the event’s most captivating areas. At the heart of Cluj-Napoca’s Central Park, the 2025 edition reaffirmed the festival as a leading force on the European music scene, drawing over 420,000 attendees across four days and showing exceptional attention to technical and artistic quality on every stage.

Taking center stage in the lighting department, Centolight provided its professional lighting solutions to create an intimate and contemplative environment, perfectly aligned with the immersive spirit of the Soul Circle Stage. The technical setup was handled by ECS Service under the supervision of Endreffy Csaba, the company’s General Manager and a long-standing festival partner for seven consecutive editions.

“For years we’ve supported the festival, offering consultancy and technology for several stages,” says Csaba. “This year we wanted to go further, creating a cozy and evocative space in the heart of the park. Centolight was the ideal partner to bring this vision to life.”

For the lighting design, ECS Service selected exclusively Centolight fixtures—a brand owned by Frenexport—valued for their compact form factor and precise color performance. The rig included:

“The choice of Centolight products proved to be the right one,” Csaba explains. “Their performance, combined with high luminous output, vibrant color rendering, and compact design, made it possible to achieve powerful lighting even in smaller spaces.”

Centolight fixtures created an intense and dramatic atmosphere thanks to the power and versatility of the Lightblaster L720 and Lightblaster S960 pixel-controlled projectors, which brought movement and character to the stage.
The dynamic effect was amplified by the energy of the compact yet extremely powerful 280W motorized beams and the Mliner 1040 moving bars, equipped with 10 independent 40W LEDs, ideal for creating plays of light and movement on stage.
Completing the scene were the precision and power of the Thesi 280 Zoom pixel-controlled motorized fixtures, which added depth, rhythm, and a striking visual impact. This combination of technology and creativity transformed the event into an immersive and contemporary experience.

Thanks to the versatility and dynamic control of Centolight fixtures, the lighting show complemented the artistic direction of the Soul Circle Stage, which hosted acoustic and meditative performances, including a set by singer Sam Garrett. The result was a warm, welcoming atmosphere filled with positive energy, able to immerse the audience in a moment of connection and wellbeing.

The final outcome was unmistakably positive. “The feedback from both organizers and the public was outstanding,” Csaba concludes. “We exceeded every expectation, and we’re already working on expanding the setup for next year’s edition.”
